Katie Drum

Katie Drum is an internationally exhibited mixed media artist based in DeKalb, located in rural Northern Illinois, just outside the Chicago suburbs.

Influenced by vintage photography, portraiture, and nature. She is compelled to reimagine color and texture, combining mediums as she creates new narratives through her collage of Neo-impressionism and illustrative works.

When not making art or illustration pieces, Katie is a marketing professional, having worked in the field of Parks & Recreation for the past 10 + years and is an advocate for wildlife and public land conservation.
